How do students envision the future of their city? What matters truly to them?

At BG/BRG Hollabrunn, the Climathon created a space where students could develop ideas for their community and share them directly with local decision-makers. In cooperation with KLAR! Göllersbach, imagination met reality.

The ideas were concrete, grounded in lived experience: new learning spaces, greener public areas, safer and flexible mobility on the way to school.

By bringing together students, experts, and local stakeholders early in the process, ideas move onto conversations, and conversations opened up to potential collaborations to take on the next steps for implementation.

Participation starts with a thought. The space provided can help find the courage to share it out loud and build on a common vision – together.
