Empowering Local Leaders to Organize Climathons, Strengthening Community Resilience and Fostering Multi-Stakeholder Cooperation

How can we effectively address local challenges arising from climate change? What role does citizen participation play, and how can it be fostered for long-term, sustainable impact? How do Climathons contribute to this process?
This first cohort is designed for local enablers—including volunteers, associations, local and regional project managers, and interested individuals—in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Turkey. Participants receive a hands-on training including a structured framework and practical tools to organize their very own first Climathon in their community. Together, we explore potential entry points and adapt the concept to local needs through collaborative discussions, coaching sessions, and a buddy system for peer support.
